Oil Change.pngYour vehicle should receive an oil change around every 3,000 miles in order to continue to run smoothly. There are four available motor oil options: Conventional, Synthetic, Synthetic Blend, and High-Mileage. Let’s find out which one is right for you.

Conventional Oil

The most common type of oil is conventional motor oil, which is a petroleum-based oil made from refined crude oil. Using conventional motor oil is recommended if you have a newer car or a car with mid-range mileage.

This motor oil requires more frequent oil changes compared to some of the other oil options due to being prone to engine and oil filter build-up. It is known as the most affordable option.

Synthetic Oil

This motor oil is the highest cost out of the four options available, and it is a chemically engineered oil that is more viscous than other engine oils. It lasts longer, contains fewer impurities, and improves fuel efficiency. This oil does not work for all engines, so we recommend asking if it is compatible with your car.

Synthetic Blend Oil

Synthetic blend motor oil is a combination of standard and synthetic motor oil. It’s an excellent alternative to a fully synthetic blend and it is more affordable. Synthetic blend motor oil is recommended for larger vehicles, such as SUVs and pickup trucks.

High-Mileage Oil

High-mileage motor oil is made for cars with more than 75,000 miles. This motor oil contains additives and ingredients to take care of older engines. It helps reduce oil consumption, prevent leaks, and lower emissions.
