For months, Jeep fanatics and dealers alike have been anticipating more details regarding the upcoming Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and, thankfully, we finally have some tentative dates. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is set to debut at the 2017 New York Auto Show in April and is expected to appear on car lots by October of this year.
To join the lineup along with the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, the impressive new Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will feature a 6.2-liter V8-powered super engine, referred to as the Hellcat. This engine is the same size as the one in the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, but delivers even more horsepower with its 0-60 mph time slipping in just under 3.0 seconds.
While the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will have limited availability compared to the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, it will reportedly also be sold in certain markets in Asia and the Middle East, though the U.S. will have it first. Pricing for this model is expected to start around $80K.
