Whether you’re a Jeep® SUV enthusiast or new to the off-road life, we think you’ll be interested to hear this new info regarding the 2018 Jeep Wrangler today, so read on.

If the all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler interior upgrades weren’t exciting enough, you should know there will likely be even more choices in the lineup. According to recent reports, a turbo four, 2.0-liter engine model will be available alongside the diesel-sipping, turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 model and the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine in the lineup due out this year.

While this is yet to be confirmed by FCA US LLC, our source, JLWranglerForums.com, claims to have the insider scoop. Along with these powertrain details, it is said that the Sahara trim may only be available on the four-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited model and that it will offer a full-time all-wheel-drive system. Sport and Rubicon trim levels are expected on both the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited models with part-time.

When it comes to transmission options, we know the six-speed stick will be included, though we don’t know yet which engine or engines it will be paired with. Self-shifting Jeep Wrangler models will move up from five-speed to eight.

Official word is still out on the formal debut of the upcoming 2018 Jeep Wrangler, but it very well may debut in the Los Angeles Auto Show in December. If you’ve been searching for a Brunswick Jeep dealer, Brunswick Auto Mart is more than prepared to help you out. Stop by our Ohio Jeep dealership today!
