Jeep recently announced that they have surpassed a global sales record, tallying their highest sales ever. They have never sold more vehicles in their illustrious 75-year history! The automaker's 2015 sales marked their fourth straight sales record as well. Jeep recorded sales of 1,237,583 vehicles during 2015. It was a gain of 22 percent compared to 2014, when the automaker posted sales of 1,017,019 vehicles. Jeep also posted big sales here in the U.S., tallying sales of 865,028 vehicles for a gain of 25 percent compared to 2014.
The 2016 Jeep Cherokee was the top seller for the automaker last year.
