FCA US LLC recently reported sales numbers for September 2015, and the news was great for the parent company of the automaker that builds one of the most stylish and sleek SUVs out there, the 2016 Jeep® Cherokee, which we offer in our new Jeep inventory here at Brunswick Auto Mart. In fact, Jeep models contributed significantly to the company's overall gains, posting record sales during the month.
The news was great across the board for FCA US LLC, which posted overall sales of 193,019 during September 2015, up 14 percent compared to the same month last year, and the best September sales the company has posted in 15 years.
According to Reid Bigland, FCA US LLC Head of U.S. Sales, "On the back of a strong sales industry we were able to achieve our best September sales in 15 years and our 66th consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth... Last month's sales strength was broad based with five FCA vehicles setting September sales records and two others posting their best monthly sales ever."
Jeep SUV models were strong sales performers last month. Overall sales were up 40 percent on sales of 77,201 vehicles. September 2015 also marked the 24th straight month of gains for the automaker. The 2016 Jeep Compass and 2016 Jeep Cherokee led the way with sales of 7,179 and 20,224 vehicles, respectively. The 2016 Jeep Compass posted a 54 percent gain compared to the same month last year; it was the model's best sales ever for the month of September. The 2016 Jeep Cherokee recorded a gain of 38 percent for its best ever monthly sales performance.
