FCA US LLC, the parent company of the automakers who make the 2015 Dodge Dart, one of our favorite cars here at Brunswick Auto Mart, recently released sales reports for September 2015. And there's lots of great news to report: Dodge is on a roll!
The automaker reported overall sales of 193,019 vehicles during September 2015 for a gain of 14 percent compared to the same month last year when the automaker sold 169,890 vehicles. It was the automaker's best September monthly sales performance in fifteen years.
Dodge vehicles were a strong contributor towards the automaker's sales successes last month. The 2015 Dodge Dart is a sporty and aggressive compact sedan that delivers potent, exciting performance, and it's one of our favorite models here at our Akron area Dodge car dealership. And it contributed with sales of 7,244 vehicles for a gain of 5 percent during September 2015.
Two more favorites, the 2015 Dodge Challenger also contributed with sales of 4,552 vehicles for a gain of 26 percent compared to the same month last year, as did the 2015 Dodge Journey, which posted an increase of 45 percent on sales of 10,457 vehicles. It was the best September monthly sales performance ever for both models.
"On the back of a strong sales industry we were able to achieve our best September sales in 15 years and our 66th consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth... Last month's sales strength was broad based with five FCA vehicles setting September sales records and two others posting their best monthly sales ever," said Reid Bigland, FCA US LLC Head of U.S. Sales.
