Chrysler Group LLC recently announced their December 2013 sales figures as well as annual sales figures for 2013, and the report offered plenty of good news for Chrysler automakers and plenty of good news for those of us who love to drive their vehicles, like the refined and luxurious 2014 Chrysler 200, which you can find right here at Brunswick Auto Mart.
Chrysler Group LLC reported both year-over-year and month-over-month sales gains, with December marking the company's best December monthly sales numbers in since December 2007, as well as the company's best annual sales numbers in six years. Overall, Chrysler Group LLC sales increased 9 percent compared to 2012, marking four straight years of annual gains.
Sales in both the passenger car segment and truck segment were strong, with sales of 11 percent in the car segment in the U.S. thanks to strong offerings like the 2014 Chrysler 200, which offers a great combination of elegance and luxury, with a powerful, efficient Pentastar® available to provide plenty of performance. Meanwhile, the truck segment saw gains of 8 percent thanks to strong offerings like the award-winning 2014 RAM 1500, which offers heavy-duty capability along with remarkable comfort and style. The Jeep® brand also contributed with record-setting worldwide sales in 2013.
"Our Jeep and Ram Truck brands had a strong finish led by the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee and the Ram pickup truck, Motor Trend’s 2014 Truck of the Year. Sales of the new Cherokee topped 15,000 units in December as our newest SUV continues its solid sales performance out of the gate," said Head of U.S. Sales, Reid Bigland.
