The all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee posted sales of 14,827 vehicles, during July 2014, an 11 percent gain from the previous month. The 2014 Jeep Wrangler posted its best ever July sales during July 2014, with sales of 16,388 vehicles, a gain of 14 percent compared to July 2013. Overall, the Jeep Brand recorded its best July monthly sales ever, up 41 percent compared with the same period a year ago, with total vehicles sales of 59,588.
Overall, Chrysler Group LLC reported sales gains of 20 percent for July 2014, with sales of 167,667 vehicles. July 2014 also marked the 52nd straight month of gains for the company.
Said Reid Bigland, Head of U.S. Sales, Chrysler Group LLC, "Chrysler Group had a solid July as each brand recorded sales gains on our way to a 20 percent year-over-year increase, our strongest July sales in nine years... Sales of the all-new Chrysler 200 mid-size sedan continued to increase while our Jeep and RAM Truck brands each turned in double-digit sales gains, helping to lead Chrysler Group to its 52nd-consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth."
