September is a good month for many reasons: the weather oftentimes is still pleasant, but not as hot as during the dog days of summer; children are back in school learning important things and the house is one again peaceful and quiet; and you can always count on that long Labor Day weekend and extra day off from work.
Chrysler Group LLC had a good September with increased sales numbers and their 42nd straight month of year-to-year gains. Chrysler sold 143,017 vehicles in September 2013 compared to 142,041 during September 2012, for a one percent increase and their best September since 2007.
Said Reid Bigland, Chrysler Group LLC Head of U.S. Sales, "Even though industry sales dipped during September, Chrysler Group still managed to eke out a slight sales increase for the month... Our dealers had two less selling days in September compared with a year ago, but they still outperformed the industry and extended our sales streak to 42-consecutive months of year-over-year sales gains."
September 2013 was especially good for Jeep® vehicles - the Jeep Grand Cherokee enjoyed its best September sales in a decade with an increase of 19 percent. And when you visit Brunswick Auto Mart to check out a new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee you'll see why it performed so well in sales numbers - because it performs so well in the real world.
There are lots of good things to experience and enjoy during the month of September, and it's great when all that September goodness carries over into October and throughout the rest of the year. Chrysler had a good month and expects to continue the trend, and one thing that will help ensure several good months for drivers in Brunswick and North Olmstead - 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's good in any weather, with or without children, during your next long weekend, in any month.
