Perhaps you've noticed the recent trend encouraging consumers to buy local, whether it's dining at an organic farm-to-table restaurant where ingredients are grown in the chef's personal garden or purchasing decorations from local craftspeople for your home renovation. Buying local goods, items, and services rather than imported items helps support your community and helps keep your friends and neighbors employed.
If buying local is important to you, your friends here at Brunswick Auto Mart have some great news: you can buy local when you get behind the wheel of a new 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Cleveland, Brunswick, and North Olmstead area drivers, a short trip of about two hours will take you to Toledo, Ohio, the manufacturing home of the new 2014 Jeep Cherokee. In the process of replacing the Jeep Liberty, preparation for production of the new Cherokee required an investment of approximately $500 million for improvements to the Toledo facility including a new, high-tech body shop and an enhanced paint shop.
Production of the Jeep Liberty ceased in August, 2012. Shortly thereafter work began on a 252,000 square foot expansion to the old body shop to make way for a new body shop that is not only environmentally friendly, but also utilizes high-tech, innovative production methods using laser measurement and automated assembly processes.
As a result, drivers who long for the on-road comfort and performance as well as Trail Rated® off-road capability can find it in an Ohio-built 2014 Jeep Cherokee. North Olmstead, Cleveland, and Brunswick area drivers, visit us here at Brunswick Auto Mart to learn more about buying local with the new 2014 Jeep Cherokee.
Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne said upon announcing the Toledo facility expansion, "Over many decades, Chrysler has become a part of this community's fabric. ...With this investment and the addition of more than a thousand jobs, we continue to play our part in contributing to the city's industrial and social development."
