The new sealant foam can be found in 10 locations through the body structure, including wheel wells and the front A-pillars and middle B-pillars. It is also easier to work with and has a longer shelf-life than the previous sealant product, which helps reduce costs and improves manufacturing logistics. Thanks to its reduced density less material is required which means less cost and less weight.
